Alineaciones probables:

O'Higgins: Pablo Garcés; Yerson Opazo, Benjamín Vidal, Albert Acevedo, Alejandro López; Braulio Leal, César Fuentes, Pablo Hernández; Luis Pedro Figueroa, Pablo Calandria y Gonzalo Barriga. Entrenador: Eduardo Berizzo

Cerro Porteño: Roberto Fernández; Carlos Bonet, Luis Cardozo, Danilo Ortiz, Junior Alonso; Matias Corujo, Julio dos Santos, Fidencio Oviedo, Oscar Romero; Rodolfo Gamarra y Guillermo Beltrán. Entrenador: Francisco Arce

- Alineaciones probables:

Gremio: Marcelo Grohe; Pará, Werley, Rhodolfo, Wendell; Edinho, Riveros, Ramiro, Zé Roberto, Luan; y Hernán Barcos. Entrenador: Enderson Moreira.

Newell's Old Boys: Nahuel Guzmán; Marcos Cáceres, Víctor López, Gabriel Hienze, Milton Casco; Ever Banega, Hernán Villalba, Lucas Bernardi; Víctor Figueroa, Ezequiel Ponce y Maxi Rodríguez. Entrenador: Alfredo Berti

Prediction: France Ligue 2 / Stade Brestois V Tours

France Ligue 2-- Match Time3/15/2014 03:00 Saturday
Stade Brestois V Tours Livescore | Match Preview| Match Statistics
--------------------------------------------------

TEAM NEWS
Brest midfielder Johan Ramare is suspended. This is a minor loss as Brest have other midfielders of similar calibre. The absence of Ousmane Coulibaly – who can play at right-back or in midfield – is also a minor issue.
Tours welcome back right-back Fousseni Diawara. He sat out their Monday night match vs Angers. Left-back Samuel Bouhours is still out. He has missed their last two games.

Brest
Suspended: Johan Ramare
Doubtful: Johan Martial (hernia), Bernard Mendy (back), Ousmane Coulibaly (calf)
Injured/unavailable: None
Tours
Suspended: None
Doubtful: None
Injured/unavailable: Kevin Diaz (ankle), Ali Gherieni (hernia), Xavier Tomas (calf), Samuel Bouhours (leg)

MATCH PREVIEW
Tours are one of the most excitingly unpredictable sides we’ve had in Ligue 2. Their coach Olivier Pantaloni recently described his players as “mentally flaky”, but on their day les Tourangeaux are a match for anybody in this division. They showed as much with a creditable 2-2 draw at Lens in their last away game (in typical Tours style it could have been even better: they led 2-0 but threw away 2pts by conceding a brace of late goals) and then struck a blow against another of their promotion rivals with a 2-0 win over a depleted Angers on Monday night.
As a result of picking up 4pts from their last two games Tours go into this match just 3pts off the promotion positions. Hosts Brest are threatened with relegation so have everything to play for, but technically speaking Tours are a considerably more accomplished side. The visitors’ main opposition may not be Brest but the Stade Francis Le Ble pitch. Brest’s home surface has been in appalling condition throughout the winter, which may prevent Tours playing their effective football.
For that reason, plus the fact Tours may be tired after facing Angers just four days before this match takes place, I prefer the draw to the away win.

HEAD TO HEAD
Brest’s all-time home record vs Tours is W4-D4-L2.

Prediction: Sticky pitch to trip up the visitors

Prediction: France Ligue 2 / Bastia CA V Troyes

France Ligue 2-- Match Time3/15/2014 03:00 Saturday
Bastia CA V Troyes Livescore | Match Preview| Match Statistics
----------------------------------------------------

TEAM NEWS
CA Bastia have a lengthy list of players that are either doubtful or unavailable. Most of those players are squad members rather than automatic starters, however, so the strength of the starting XI is barely affected.
Troyes holding midfielder Xavier Thiago has been out since last month and ruled out until the end of the season. Centre-half Mahamadou Ndiaye has been out since last month. The defence is a bit weaker without him.

CA Bastia
Suspended: None
Doubtful: Madimoussa Traore (knee), Jean-Jacques Mandrichi (knee), Romain Pastorelli (calf)
Injured/unavailable: Dominique Agostini (knee), Remy Arnoux (hernia), Nicolas Di Fraya (knee), Johann Truchet (thigh), Massire Kante (knee)
Troyes
Suspended: None
Doubtful: Stephen Drouin (knee), Mahamadou Ndiaye (thigh), Karim Azamoum (knee), Corentin Jean (hamstring)
Injured/unavailable: Benjamin Psaume (Achilles), Xavier Thiago (knee), Sebastien Grax (leg)

MATCH PREVIEW
Troyes thrashed Istres 4-1 last weekend but coach Jean-Marc Furlan was typically honest afterwards by admitting his side were lucky to win emphatically. “Last weekend we produced our best performance of the season at Angers but drew 1-1; this weekend we didn’t play well but we’ve picked up all 3pts and scored four times.” he said.
Troyes may not have played well but the fact they scored four times merely underlines their attacking potential. Only two teams have scored more goals than Troyes this season, and their attacking midfielders and strikers will go into this game full of confidence after last weekend’s triumph.
CA Bastia suffered their 17th defeat in 27 league games when they lost 2-0 at Laval last weekend. It was the latest sign they’re out of their depth in this division, a division they’ve been rooted to the foot of all season. Against a team with Troyes’ attacking quality it’s impossible to make a logical case for the hosts to get anything from the game. Troyes are the weekend’s best away selection.

HEAD TO HEAD
This is the first-ever meeting between the sides on Corsica.

Prediction: Visitors to make it two wins from two

Prediction: France Ligue 2 / Caen V Nimes

France Ligue 2-- Match Time3/15/2014 03:00 Saturday
Caen V Nimes Livescore | Match Preview| Match Statistics
----------------------------------------------------

TEAM NEWS
Caen are at full strength. After a solid draw away to local rivals Le Havre (1-1) last weekend coach Patrice Garande will be tempted to name an unchanged side.
Nimes are waiting to hear whether centre-forward Samir Benmeziane is available. He sat out their 1-0 defeat at Clermont last weekend. Should Benmeziane be missing again France international Anthony Koura will continue to lead the attack.

Caen
Suspended: None
Doubtful: Nicolas Seube (knee), Laurent Agouazi (leg), Felipe Saad (hernia)
Injured/unavailable: None
Nimes
Suspended: None
Doubtful: Mohamed Benyahia (ankle), Emmanuel Correze (thigh), Jonathan Parpeix (thigh), Samir Benmeziane (foot)
Injured/unavailable: None

MATCH PREVIEW
These two sides may be at opposite ends of the table – Caen are fifth on 42pts, just 3pts off the promotion zone, while Nimes are 16th on 30pts, level on points with Istres, who occupy the highest relegation position – but there’s actually very little difference in quality between the two sets of players. Nimes’ position and points tally is misleading as they’re one of the division’s most improved sides. In nine matches since Remy Marsiglia was appointed their manager in December they’ve averaged 1.67 points per game, which matches Caen’s record over the same nine-game period.
That’s why I expect Nimes to get a point this weekend. They produced a strangely lethargic performance at Clermont (1-0 defeat) last Friday night, but that was probably the result of their recent exertions; it was inevitable they would suffer a dip at some point, but morale is so much better under Marsiglia than it was under his predecessor Victor Zvunka I would expect Nimes to bounce back.
Caen have been average rather than good at home this season, and won’t always be able to produce something special to win matches. A fortnight ago they scored twice in the dying minutes to turn an impending 1-0 defeat into a 2-1 win over Clermont, but their performance was ordinary. So ignore the league table, take recent form into account and back Nimes to pick up a point.

HEAD TO HEAD
Caen’s home record vs Nimes is an impressive W6-D3-L0.

Prediction: Caen to come unstuck at home

Prediction: France Ligue 2 / Chateauroux V Metz

France Ligue 2-- Match Time3/15/2014 03:00 Saturday
Chateauroux V Metz Livescore | Match Preview| Match Statistics
----------------------------------------------------

TEAM NEWS
Chateauroux are hopeful holding midfielder Alexi Peuget will return. Otherwise the hosts are at full strength and expected to line-up in their usual 4-2-3-1 formation.
Metz still have a question mark over centre-half Guido Milan and striker Nicolas Fauvergue. The pair sat out Metz’s 1-0 home defeat to Lens last weekend. Another centre-half, Sylvain Marchal, is also a doubt after picking up an injury last weekend.

Chateauroux
Suspended: None
Doubtful: Denys Bain (back), Terence Makengo (thigh), Alexi Peuget (foot), Massamba Sambou (thigh)
Injured/unavailable: Emeric Dudouit (knee), Pierre-Yves Polomat (ankle)
Metz
Suspended: None
Doubtful: Chris Philipps (hamstring), Abdallah N’Dour (hernia), Guido Milan (groin), Nicolas Fauvergue (groin), Sylvain Marchal (thigh)
Injured/unavailable: Thibaut Bourgeois (knee), Kwame Nsor (knee), Luciano Teixeira (Achilles), Maxwel Cornet (knee)

MATCH PREVIEW
Chateauroux’s 4-0 defeat at Niort was one of the biggest shocks of last weekend. There was no disgrace in losing against in-form opponents, but Chateauroux had played so well in their previous five matches – winning four times and drawing once – that there was absolutely no sign there were going to be beaten so easily.
The problem for Chateauroux is their chances of bouncing back by winning this weekend are vastly reduced because they face Ligue 2 leaders Metz. Albert Cartier’s side suffered a surprise 1-0 home defeat to Lens last weekend but it would be typical of Metz to put that behind them by collecting all 3pts. Metz are one of the division’s mentally toughest sides and will prey on weaknesses in the Chateauroux ranks. Metz are also stronger than Chateauroux in all areas of the field – so as long as they can adapt to Chateauroux’s artificial pitch the visitors are a strong bet to win.

HEAD TO HEAD
Metz have won 3/7 games at Chateauroux, drawing three times and losing only once.

Prediction: Leaders to strengthen their position at the top

Prediction: France Ligue 2 / Dijon V Le Havre

France Ligue 2-- Match Time3/15/2014 03:00 Saturday
Dijon V Le Havre Livescore | Match Preview| Match Statistics
----------------------------------------------------

TEAM NEWS
For the second week running Dijon will be able to put out their strongest line-up. Sekou Baradji is a minor loss but the hosts have other good options in midfield.
Le Havre are also at full strength, although the ongoing absence of Yohann Riviere is a problem. Without him Le Havre are short of cover in attack. Mickael Le Bihan has to start every game and is beginning to look tired.

Dijon
Suspended: None
Doubtful: William Remy (hamstring), Romain Amalfitano (hernia), Sekou Baradji (toe)
Injured/unavailable: None
Le Havre
Suspended: None
Doubtful: None
Injured/unavailable: Yohann Riviere (back), Victor Lekhal (knee)

MATCH PREVIEW
A month or so ago Dijon seemed to relish the opportunity to challenge for promotion. But at that time they were outsiders for a top-three spot. As results have improved and expectations grown, the team’s nerve has wobbled. Never was that more apparent than in the Burgundy derby at Auxerre last weekend.
Leading 1-0 thanks to a first-half goal, Dijon were on the back foot for much of the second period. The more pressure Auxerre put them under, the more the Dijon defence creaked. And then, with time running out, Dijon shot themselves in the foot in the most spectacular fashion, as midfielder Johan Gastien scored not one but two own goals. A late Ousseynou Cisse equaliser salvaged a point for Dijon but the remarkable manner in which they threw away a winning position suggested the pressure is getting to them.
That’s one reason I prefer the draw to a Dijon win this weekend. Another is Le Havre manager Erick Mombaerts has admitted his side are more dangerous away from home than playing in front of their own fans. Le Havre have lost just 3/13 away games, with seven of those 13 matches ending in draws. I would back Le Havre to profit from those nerves in the home camp by collecting a point this weekend.

HEAD TO HEAD
Dijon’s home record vs Le Havre is W2-D3-L3.

Prediction: Faltering hosts to drop more points

Prediction: France Ligue 2 / Istres V Clermont

France Ligue 2-- Match Time3/15/2014 03:00 Saturday
Istres V Clermont Livescore | Match Preview| Match Statistics
----------------------------------------------------

TEAM NEWS
Istres welcome back veteran Cyril Jeunechamp. The full-back – converted into a defensive midfielder since joining Istres in January – missed their 4-1 defeat at Troyes last weekend.
Clermont right-back Cedric Bockhorni returns. He should go back into the side as a deputy for Anthony Lippini, ruled out until the end of the season by a serious knee injury.

Istres
Suspended: None
Doubtful: None
Injured/unavailable: Geoffrey Malfleury (foot)
Clermont
Suspended: None
Doubtful: Bilal Hamdi (hip)
Injured/unavailable: Pierrick Capelle (knee), Anthony Lippini (knee), Gregory Bettiol (knee)

MATCH PREVIEW
Istres are virtually alone among teams near the foot of Ligue 2 in trying to score their way out of trouble. It’s only a couple of weeks since coach Jose Pasqualetti admitted he would “rather try to win games 4-3 rather than 1-0.” Yet you wonder whether Pasqualetti might have questioned his attacking approach following last weekend’s 4-1 defeat at Troyes. For long spells Istres were the better side but their habit of leaving themselves wide open at the back, coupled with their habit of making individual mistakes in key areas of the pitch, meant they came away on the wrong end of a beating.
That defensive vulnerability is the reason I cannot back Istres with any confidence this weekend. Clermont ended a run of four straight defeats with a 1-0 victory over in-form Nimes last weekend. Like Istres, Clermont are embroiled in the relegation battle so have everything to play for.
There’s a good chance Istres will be the more entertaining of these two teams but it is hard to believe the hosts have the all-round quality to win. Back the draw.

HEAD TO HEAD
Five out of nine head-to-heads in Istres have ended in draws. Clermont have won three times, Istres once.

Prediction: Hosts’ defence set to let them down

Prediction: France Ligue 2 / Stade Lavallois MFC V AJ Auxerre

France Ligue 2-- Match Time3/15/2014 03:00 Saturday
Stade Lavallois MFC V AJ Auxerre Livescore | Match Preview| Match Statistics
----------------------------------------------------

TEAM NEWS
Laval left-back Guillaume Rippert returns after a one-game suspension. Midfielder Anthony Goncalves is out. Laval may switch to a 4-4-2 from the 4-3-3 they’ve used in recent weeks. Centre-back Malik Couturier missed last week’s game and remains a doubt.
Auxerre goalkeeper Donovan Leon is out. He was promoted to no. 1 towards the end of last year when Olivier Sorin – no. 1 choice until that point – was ruled out. That means Auxerre no. 3 Geoffrey Lembet will start. Right-back Eric Marester is still suspended so France youth international Jean-Charles Castelletto will keep his place.

Laval
Suspended: Anthony Goncalves
Doubtful: Malik Couturier (groin), Sebastien Renouard (thigh), Miodrag Stosic (thigh), Amara Baby (wrist)
Injured/unavailable: None
Auxerre
Suspended: Eric Marester, Donovan Leon
Doubtful: None
Injured/unavailable: Olivier Sorin (leg)

MATCH PREVIEW
There was much speculation Auxerre coach Bernard Casoni would be sacked if Auxerre failed to beat Dijon last weekend. After the game finished 2-2 a philosophical Casoni spent a little longer than usual sitting in the manager’s seat at Stade Abbe Deschamps following the final whistle, as though enjoying one last opportunity to look around the stadium where he’s worked for the past 15 months. But then Auxerre president Guy Cotret – who had strongly hinted Casoni was a dead man walking unless he collected all 3pts against Dijon – sprung a surprise by announcing former Marseille defender Casoni would stay in charge for the rest of the season after all.
The decision to confirm Casoni in the post should give Auxerre a boost going into this game. The players appear to genuinely like their coach, although results have been poor since the turn of the year. Auxerre’s problems have nothing to do with Casoni and everything to do with one decision taken during the transfer window. The sale of star player Paul-Georges Ntep to Rennes for €6m in January has left Auxerre toothless in attack. In recent six games, Auxerre only scored four goals.
With serious attacking problems and team news issues in defence this weekend as well (see above) Auxerre will struggle to pick up points from this trip to face relegation rivals. Back hosts Laval to prey on Auxerre’s weaknesses at both ends of the pitch. The home win is the selection.

HEAD TO HEAD
Laval’s home record vs Auxerre is W5-D3-L4.

Prediction: Casoni to suffer more misery with Auxerre

Prediction: France Ligue 2 / Nancy V Niort

France Ligue 2-- Match Time3/15/2014 03:00 Saturday
Nancy V Niort Livescore | Match Preview| Match Statistics
----------------------------------------------------

TEAM NEWS
Nancy welcome back midfielder Thomas Ayasse and star striker Jeff Louis from suspension, although the latter is an injury doubt. The same applies to winger Alexandre Cuvillier. Vincent Muratori is suspended following his red card in the 2-1 victory at Arles.
Niort are waiting to hear whether left winger Florian Martin will be fit. He sat out their match vs Chateauroux last weekend. In his absence Greg Houla produced an excellent performance and will probably feel he deserves to keep his place anyway.

Nancy
Suspended: Vincent Muratori
Doubtful: Alexandre Cuvillier (groin), Jeff Louis (knee)
Injured/unavailable: None
Niort
Suspended: None
Doubtful: Kevin Mayi (thigh), Florian Martin (thigh)
Injured/unavailable: Kevin Rocheteau (knee)

MATCH PREVIEW
What a game this promises to be between two genuine promotion challengers. Nancy are a gutsy team of fighters that simply refuse to give up. They proved as much last weekend as they scored a last-minute winner to earn a 2-1 victory at Arles. What made the win all the more remarkable was it was achieved without star striker Jeff Louis, Arles were previously unbeaten at home this season, Nancy had gone down to 10 men on 58 minutes and suffered the morale-sapping blow of conceding an equaliser just four minutes from time. The fact they still managed to win tells you all about their character, and the fact it was their right-back, Joffrey Cuffaut, who scored the winner explains plenty about the side’s adventurous approach in the match’s dying minutes.
Niort are the unlikeliest Ligue 2 promotion challengers as they were widely tipped for relegation before the season began. Yet they have defied the odds by producing a superb series of results since the turn of the year and are playing without any pressure at all because they’ve exceeded expectations. The freedom with which they’re playing was obvious as they thrashed Chateauroux 4-0 last weekend.
Both teams are capable of winning , and both have the quality and determination to avoid defeat. For those reasons the draw is the smart selection on a night where we should see plenty of good football at Stade Marcel-Picot.

HEAD TO HEAD
Nancy’s all-time home record vs Niort is W5-D4-L0.

Prediction: Holland Eredivisie / Cambuur Leeuwaarden V RKC Waalwijk

Holland Eredivisie-- Match Time3/15/2014 03:00 Saturday
Cambuur Leeuwaarden V RKC Waalwijk Livescore | Match Preview| Match Statistics
----------------------------------------------------

CAMBUUR V RKC WAALWIJK : PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIP 1X2
Cambuur(8-7-12) are on a five game unbeaten run, with two wins and three draws, including an excellent 1-1 scoreline at league leaders Ajax last week, which has lifted them to mid table. Home form (8-1-4) is very good, and they will expect nothing less than a win in this. RKC Waalwijk(6-9-12) have not won in four , with three defeats, after a decent run of results before that had lifted them from the foot of the table. Just two points off the bottom again, away form (1-5-7) does not inspire too much confidence on them getting an unlikely win in this. Striker Lukoki is suspended for Cambuur, with Najah(mid) out injured for RKC.

Cambuur at 1.50 looks a safe 1X2 choice at odds worth taking. Current form alone points strongly to a Cambuur win, but when you look at the two sides home and away records there is only one bet you can take on this match. That bet is a Cambuur win to kick off the weekend in winning style.

CAMBUUR V RKC WAALWIJK : PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIP GOALCAST
Cambuur to win and both teams to score at 3.10 beefs things up pricewise, and looks like a winning combination to me. Both teams have scored in seven of Cambuur last eight matches, and eleven of the last thirteen RKC games have seen both sides score. With confidence high for a Cambuur win, this provides the perfect combination for an over the odds bet.

Prediction: Cambuur Leeuwaarden to Win / Cambuur goalcast

Prediction: German Bundesliga / Augsburg V Schalke 04

German Bundesliga-- Match Time3/15/2014 03:30 Saturday
Augsburg V Schalke 04 Livescore | Match Preview| Match Statistics
----------------------------------------------------

AUGSBURG V SCHALKE : PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIP 1X2
One defeat in the last twelve for Augsburg (11-5-Cool has put them in an unlikely sixth position, with a real chance of qualifying for Europe next season. Some impressive displays will lead them to believe they can get their first win against Schalke, after not managing it in six previous attempts. Schalke (13-5-6) despite a couple of heavy losses to Real Madrid and Bayern have been in overall good form themselves. In their last twelve matches they are the only two defeats, and the run has got them into fourth spot in the table, with Augsburg six points behind them. An impressive 4-0 win against in form Hoffenheim last week will set them up well for another tough test here. Verhaegh(def) and Molders(str) miss out injured for Augsburg, with Schalke missing Fuchs, Uchida(def), Clemens, Hoger and main man Farfan (mid).

A very good game is expected here with two sides at the top end of the table, and the draw at 3.40(12/5)Bet365 is the best bet. Schalke possess the greater class for sure, but this Augsburg side have shown how effective they are as a team, and this can help them to get a draw in this. Schalke showed the perfect reaction to two heavy losses last week, and a good point here can show how good and resilient a side they are.

AUGSBURG V SCHALKE : PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIP BOTH TEAMS SCORE
Both teams to score at 1.62 looks a good bet on this match. Augsburg have been finding the net with regularity , but have also conceded in eight of their last nine. Schalke had looked to shore up at the back somewhat, before five and six goal maulings, but got a clean sheet last week. Against a buoyant Augsburg, I don’t see them keeping a clean sheet, but they are very likely to score themselves, making this a good bet at reasonable odds.

AUGSBURG V SCHALKE : PREDICTIONS AND BETTING TIP ANYTIME SCORER
Klaas Jan Huntelaar at 2.20(6/5)WilliamHill to score anytime is worth getting on as he looks to be hitting top form following an injury plagued season. The Dutchman grabbed himself a hat trick in last weeks 4-0 win against Hoffenheim, taking his season tally to seven in only nine appearances. The 30 year old may never emulate his 29 league goals of two seasons ago, but class is permanent as they say, and with confidence high, back Huntelaar to score again in this one.

Prediction: Draw / Both teams to score / Huntelaar score anytime

Prediction: Argentine Division 1 / Atletico Rafaela V Velez Sarsfield

Argentine Division 1-- Match Time3/15/2014 06:10 Saturday
Atletico Rafaela V Velez Sarsfield Livescore | Match Preview| Match Statistics
----------------------------------------------------

TEAM NEWS
Atletico de Rafaela drew 0-0 away to Estudiantes last week, and did so without picking up either suspensions or any new injuries. Since Rodrigo Depetris will be free to return from suspension for this match, that means they have a full squad to pick from here.
Velez Sarsfield's last league match was a 3-1 home win over Belgrano on Saturday, during which they didn't pick up any suspensions. Fernando Tobio, though, has been confirmed as out for at least another week, so he won't be able to feature here. On Tuesday night, Velez sent a largely reserve team to the altitude of La Paz, Bolivia, to take on The Strongest in the Copa Libertadores group stage, and lost 2-0, but won’t have let that bother them too much.

Rafaela

Velez
Suspended: None
Doubtful: None
Injured/unavailable: Fernando Tobio (right hamstring)

MATCH PREVIEW
Rafaela have fallen away somewhat with the thick-and-fast nature of games during this championship; they haven't managed a win in their last four games, recording two defeats and two draws. Both draws have come in their recent back-to-back games away against the two La Plata sides; only one of their four winless games has been in their own stadium.
Velez have found wins easier to come by, but still have big swings from game to game, seemingly related to whether they're at home or away. They've got four wins, one draw (on the opening weekend) and two defeats so far in the Torneo Final, but the sequence in the last five games has been win-loss-win-loss-win, with the wins all coming at home and the losses all coming away.
The main reason for those defeats is a defence that simply doesn't operate as well in away games; of the nine goals Velez have let in in the league this year, eight have come away, and seven were conceded in those two defeats (3-2 away to Lanus and 4-1 away to Newell's).
Both of those away losses, though, have come in matches for which their preparation time wasn't as long. The fact that the first team weren't involved in their Copa Libertadores game on Tuesday means the defence should be better prepared for this one. I think Velez can head home with a point from this one.

HEAD TO HEAD
These sides have only met seven times in the top flight, and the head-to-head at present is heavily in favour of Velez; they've won five times (including a 4-1 on the sides' last meeting) and Rafaela just once, with one draw.

Prediction: Velez should be better prepared than for recent away games; draw

Prediction: German Bundesliga 2 / Ingolstadt V FSV Frankfurt

German Bundesliga 2-- Match Time3/15/2014 01:30 Saturday
Ingolstadt V FSV Frankfurt Livescore | Match Preview| Match Statistics
----------------------------------------------------

TEAM NEWS
Ingolstadt’s impressive 1-1 draw on Matchday 24 with Union Berlin was marred by the departure of captain Marvin Matip after only eight minutes. A broken collarbone rules him out for the next two months and he was replaced by Ralph Gunesch.
Neither Malte Metzelder nor Andreas Buchner featured for Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side due to their long-term injuries, however with no suspensions to worry about, the Austrian has fewer headaches than his counterpart Benno Mohlmann.
After masterminding a 1-0 home win over promotion-chasing St. Pauli, the FSV Frankfurt boss will have to produce similar magic again with a decimated squad. Edmond Kapllani, who has ten goals to his name, picked up his fifth booking of the season in that win and is suspended for the trip to Ingolstadt.
Marcel Kandziora and Chhunly Pagenburg are both out, but there was some positive news as captain Bjorn Schlicke and fellow defender Marc Heitmeier resumed training after concussion and circulatory problems respectively. Zafer Yelen and Nestor Djengoue were at work in the weights room, but that’s not to say they’ll be fit for Friday.

Ingolstadt

Ingolstadt were unlucky not to pick up all three points on the road at Union Berlin on Matchday 24 – a last-minute penalty held them to a 1-1 draw in which Pascal Gross was superb. A win would have been deserved, although the point ensured Ingolstadt remain unbeaten since the restart.
Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side have been the second-best in the league since February and although their home record is poor (W3 D1 L7), they recently overcame 1860 Munich and drew with Dresden – results which show signs of a revival at the Audi Sportpark.
With three wins and two losses since the winter break, FSV’s form has been mixed. Tellingly, two of those three defeats have come away from home - against Furth and Union Berlin, meaning their away record doesn’t make for the best reading (W3 D2 L7).
Winning goalscorer against St. Pauli Matthew Leckie’s return to form can only be timely in Edmond Kapllani’s absence. I would expect, however, that a trip to an improving Ingolstadt will prove too much for the decimated squad and that the hosts will take all three points.

HEAD TO HEAD
In September, FSV ran out 4-1 winners on home soil. Ingolstadt’s 2-1 win in Frankfurt last April was their first since 2011 and they haven’t won this fixture on home soil since 1980.

Prediction: Ingolstadt to leapfrog FSV with a win

Prediction: German Bundesliga 2 / SC Paderborn 07 V Dynamo Dresden

German Bundesliga 2-- Match Time3/15/2014 01:30 Saturday

TEAM NEWS
Paderborn goalkeeper Lukas Kruse and defender Christian Strohdiek both returned from injury to feature in the starting line-up last weekend as Andre Breitenreiter opted for a 4-1-4-1 formation in the 4-0 loss to Karlsruher.
After losing Jens Wemmer to a thigh injury halfway through the first half, SCP changed to 4-4-2 after the break at 1-0 down, but based on what followed they’d be well-advised stick with the formation which has served them so well this season.
Dresden head coach Olaf Janssen made two changes to his side against Dusseldorf, but is expected to hand Zlatko Dedic a role either up front or alongside Mickael Pote this weekend.
First-choice left-back Thomas Schulz picked up his fifth booking of the season last time out and joins Mohamed Aoudia, who has suffered a season-ending injury, and long-term absentee Adnan Mravac on the sidelines.

Paderborn
Suspended: None
Doubtful: None
Injured/Unavailable: Wemmer (thigh)
Dresden
Suspended: Schulz (one match)
Doubtful: None
Injured/ Unavailable: Auodia (cruciate ligament), Mravac (head)

MATCH PREVIEW
Having won six of their last eight league outings prior to last weekend, suffering a 4-0 loss to promotion-rivals Karlsruher will have been a bitter pill to swallow for Paderborn.
Their frontline had netted at an average of 2.25 goals per game during their eight-match unbeaten streak but posed little threat, while their defensive mistakes were ruthlessly punished. It remains to be seen whether Andre Breitenreiter’s troops can respond against a Dresden side who suffered a devastating blow to morale of their own on Matchday 24.
Indeed, Dynamo were denied all three points against Dusseldorf after Martin Latka’s 92nd minute header sent them back into the automatic relegation spots.
Back-to-back 1-1 draws have left them three points adrift of safety and I can’t see them causing an upset at the Benteler-Arena, where Paderborn have lost just twice all season (W6 D3).

HEAD TO HEAD
The home side has only won once in seven previous 2. Bundesliga encounters between Paderborn and Dresden, who both have two wins to their name.

Prediction: Paderborn to bounce back with a win

Prediction: German Bundesliga 2 / Vfr Aalen V VfL Bochum

German Bundesliga 2-- Match Time3/15/2014 01:30 Saturday
Vfr Aalen V VfL Bochum Livescore | Match Preview| Match Statistics
----------------------------------------------------

TEAM NEWS
The only positive for Aalen coach Stefan Ruthenbeck after a 4-0 loss to 1860 Munich was that there were no injuries or suspensions. The performance, however, was dismal, particularly in light of the boost provided by their best player this term, Andreas Hofmann, extending his contract.
Ruthenbeck picked the same side for the third time in succession in Munich, but his trust backfired. Enrico Valentini came on as a half-time substitute and was ineffectual, while Michael Klaus’ thigh injury kept him out of contention – he remains doubtful for this week.
Bochum capitulated similarly on Matchday 24, going down 2-0 at home to Furth. Holmar Eyjolfsson picked up his fifth booking of the season and will be forced to miss this trip due to suspension. Veteran defender Paul Freier missed the Furth loss, but is back in training and will certainly be in contention to replace Eyjolfsson.
Lukas Sinkiewicz’s knee complaints kept him out of the Furth defeat, but the bigger concern for coach Peter Neururer is his misfiring strikers. Mirkan Aydin is without a goal in four games and Richard Sukuta-Pasu’s blank made it ten without scoring for him.

Aalen
Suspended: None
Doubtful: Klaus (thigh)
Injured/Unavailable: None
Bochum
Suspended: Eyjolfsson (one match)
Doubtful: Freier (knee), Sinkiewicz (knee), Bastians (allergic reaction)
Injured/Unavailable: Gunduz (torn ligaments)

MATCH PREVIEW
Aalen’s flying start to the second half of the season suffered a damaging blow in Munich. Stefan Ruthenbeck’s men had been unbeaten up until the 4-0 hammering. No one offered any consolation in defeat and the usually reliable Robert Lechleiter endured a particularly bad performance.
Their home record isn’t outstanding (W4 D4 L4), but a recent 1-0 win over promotion-chasing Karlsruher remedied some ills. The main problem has been an inability to see off sides below their own 11th position in the table. Strugglers Aue and Cottbus each left the Scholzarena with a point recently.
Those performances will have to serve as an example for out-of-sorts Bochum, who have only won once and scored only three times since the restart. Their ineffectiveness in front of goal was on full display in their insipid 2-0 home defeat to Furth on Matchday 24 – they managed 11 shots on goal, but none were converted.
On the road, Peter Neururer’s men have shown form which belies their league position of 15th (W5 D2 L5), but the impressive Matchday 20 win over St. Pauli was swiftly undone on their most recent trip – a 4-1 hammering at Paderborn.
I would not expect them to trouble Aalen unduly, and the hosts should pick up all three points.

HEAD TO HEAD
These sides have only ever met three times at this level. Aalen left Bochum with a 2-1 win in September and a 1-0 win the season prior to that. In Aalen last season, the sides drew 2-2.

Prediction: Hosts to bounce back against Bochum
